Green River Lakes is located in Bridger-Teton National Forest, Wyoming. With 3.4 million acres of forest, it is the 3rd largest National Forest outside of Alaska. Green River Lakes is located behind the Wild River Range and is considered the headwaters of the Green River, which runs 730 miles through Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado.
