Located at the “Iron Gates” (the border between Romania and Serbia) on the river Danube is a sculpture of Decebalus, the last king of Dacia carved from the rocky cliffs. Although Decebalus ruled in 87-106 AD, the statue is less ancient than one may think – it was actually built in the early 90s and 2000s.
